Description
The B&T Assault 3 Prong is a muzzle device that is also a suppressor mount. The three open tines do the work of a compensator and flash control on their own, and the same body is the attachment point for B&T’s Fast-Attach series suppressors – so the can locks onto a device already fitted to the barrel instead of threading onto the barrel itself, and comes on and off without unscrewing it each time.
It is machined from heat-treated stainless steel and DLC coated, which is the finish used where a muzzle device sees sustained heat and has to come apart from a suppressor afterwards.
Two numbers matter when you are working out how much it adds to the rifle: the device is 2.65" long overall, but only 1.67" of that sits beyond the muzzle once it is threaded on.
