The Camillus Knives Camillus Carnivore X Machete features a 12" 440 stainless blade, stainless handle.
The blade is 440 SS, a classic American stainless that resists corrosion strongly and sharpens readily, with moderate edge retention. Stainless scales are durable and easy to clean, though heavier than polymer.
This is a larger folder aimed at outdoor and work use, where reach and cutting power matter more than minimising pocket bulk.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 12.0" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm. Keep the blade dry and the pivot clean, and touch the edge up on a strop or fine stone before it gets properly dull – it is far less work than bringing back a blunt edge.
