Description
The Chiappa Firearms 1892 Takedown is a lever action in .357 MAGNUM with a 16.5" barrel, a 1:19 twist and 5-round capacity plus one chambered.
A carbine-length barrel keeps the rifle maneuverable, trading some velocity for handling. That is slower than the usual twist for this cartridge, so it favors lighter bullets; very heavy projectiles may not stabilize. It comes with skinner picatinny w/peep |f.o sights.
The .357 MAGNUM is commonly chosen for revolver shooting, hunting and defense. Substantial power and muzzle blast; most revolvers chambered for it will also fire lighter .38 Special.
