The Christensen Arms Mpr Fft is a bolt action in 25 Creedmoor with a 24" barrel, a 1:7.5 twist and 5-round capacity plus one chambered.
A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles.
Bolt actions are commonly chosen for hunting and target shooting, where the simpler mechanism and rigid lockup are valued.
