Description

The Christensen Arms Modern Precision is a bolt action rifle in .223 REM/5.56 NATO with a 16" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 5-round capacity plus one chambered.

At this length it is easier to work in thick cover or from a blind, trading some velocity for the handling. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It comes integrated base, so it is ready to take an optic without extra machining.

The .223 REM is commonly chosen for varmints, predators and target work. Cheap, widely available and light on recoil, which makes it an easy cartridge to shoot well.

The Modern Precision Rifle is an ultra-lightweight chassis rifle designed to break with tradition. Beyond the folding stock the complete package is well equipped with a target contour Christensen Arms carbon fiber barrel, carbon fiber comb, free-floating carbon fiber handguard and 20" MOA rail. The action and stainless steel side-baffle muzzle brake are finished in Black Nitride for a sleek look. The Modern
