The Christensen Arms Mcr 300 is a bolt action in .300 Winchester Magnum with a 22" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry.

The .300 Winchester Magnum is commonly chosen for elk, large game and long-range work. Significant energy at distance, and significant recoil with it.
