Description
The Christensen Arms Evoke is a bolt action in .243 Winchester with a 20" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 4-round capacity.
This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is faster than the usual twist for this cartridge, which suits the heavier, longer bullets distance shooters tend to favor.
The .243 Winchester is commonly chosen for deer and varmints. A common choice for younger or recoil-sensitive shooters that still handles deer-sized game.
