Christensen Arms 8010107900 Mesa FFT 7mm Rem Mag 3+1 22″ Threaded Barrel, Burnt Bronze Cerakote, Green with Black/Tan Webbing Stock

Description

The Christensen Arms Mesa FFT is a bolt action rifle in 7 mm Remington Magnum with a 22" barrel, a 1:9 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It comes drilled & tapped, so it is ready to take an optic without extra machining.

A bolt action locks the cartridge up rigidly and repeatably, which is what makes it the accurate choice for hunting and target work – there is no gas system or reciprocating carrier moving while the shot breaks.

The Mesa FFT is a great solution for backcountry hunting. The FFT spotter style stock weighs in starting at 5.5 pounds making it ideal on those long hikes up the mountain. The Mesa FFT utilizes an ultralight contour stainless steel barrel with a Cerakote finish, seamless removable radial muzzle brake, and is backed by the Christensen Arms Sub-MOA Guarantee.
