The Christensen Arms RL FFT BRNZ Dune is a bolt action rifle in .280 Ackley Improved with a 22" barrel, a 1:9 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles.
