Christensen Arms 801-15010-01 Evoke 300 PRC 4+1 22″ Burnt Bronze Cerakote Threaded Barrel, Burnt Bronze Cerakote Drilled & Tapped Receiver, Picatinny Rail Forend, OD Green Fixed Synthetic Stock

Description

The Christensen Arms Evoke is a bolt action rifle in .300 PRC with a 22" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 3-round capacity.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles.

The .300 PRC is commonly chosen for elk, large game and long-range work. Significant energy at distance, and significant recoil with it.
