Description

The Christensen Arms Mpr is a bolt action in .338 Lapua Magnum with a 27" barrel, a 1:9.3 twist and 5-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It comes integrated base, so it is ready to take an optic without extra machining.

The .338 Lapua Magnum is commonly chosen for extreme long-range shooting. Heavy, expensive and hard-recoiling, chosen when reach outweighs comfort.
