The Cimarron Firearms Trapdoor Carbine is a falling block in .45-70 GOVERNMENT with a 22" barrel and a 1:18 twist.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It comes with yes sights.
