The CMMG Rifle Dissent Br4 is chambered in .223 REM/5.56 NATO with a 16.1" barrel, a 1:7 twist and 10-round capacity plus one chambered.
A carbine-length barrel keeps the rifle maneuverable, trading some velocity for handling. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.
