The Cold Steel Spartan features a 4.50" AUS-10A stainless blade, clip point, plain edge, black finish.

Stainless scales are durable and easy to clean, though heavier than polymer.

This is a larger folder aimed at outdoor and work use, where reach and cutting power matter more than minimising pocket bulk.

Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 4.5" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm.

Designed by celebrated custom knife maker Andrew Demko, our Spartan is one of our most popular folding knives. The Spartans super-sharp blade is made from Japanese AUS10A Steel and was designed to echo the aesthetics and cutting performance of the world famous Kukri. Its distinctive Kopis-inspired handle is precision injection molded out of Griv-Ex with heat treated steel liners. The Spartan also features the patented Demko thumb plate, which can be used to open the knife like a conventional "one handed opener" or be snagged on the edge of a pocket during the draw stroke and opened at lightning speed.
