The Cold Steel Recon 1 features a 4" American S35VN blade, clip point, serrated edge, textured G-10 handle, black finish.

A serrated edge bites into rope, webbing and fibrous material far better than a plain edge, and stays aggressive long after a plain edge has dulled. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate: light, dimensionally stable, and grippy even wet.

This is a larger folder aimed at outdoor and work use, where reach and cutting power matter more than minimising pocket bulk.
