Description
The Cold Steel STL Large Luzon folding knife features a 6" 8Cr13MoV stainless blade.
The blade is 8Cr13MoV SS, a budget-friendly Chinese stainless that sharpens easily and resists rust well, though it needs touching up more often than premium steels.
This is a larger folder aimed at outdoor and work use, where reach and cutting power matter more than minimising pocket bulk.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 6.0" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm. Keep the blade dry and the pivot clean, and touch the edge up on a strop or fine stone before it gets properly dull – it is far less work than bringing back a blunt edge.
Handsome and budget friendly, and a breeze to flip open, the Luzons are a formidable choice for those going in harm's way. Offering incomparable levels of safety, they're equipped with a sturdy leaf-spring lock and a (patent-pending) secondary safety mechanism that, when it's engaged, is extremely resistant to shock and impact. Your fingers will be safe even under the worst conditions.
