Description
The CRKT 2540 Ibisd Edc features a 3.09" D2 Steel blade, plain edge, G-10 handle, black finish. Built as a everyday carry knife.
G-10 is a fiberglass laminate: light, dimensionally stable, and grippy even wet.
Around three inches is the everyday carry sweet spot – long enough for boxes, cord, food prep and general utility, short enough to disappear in a pocket.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 3.09" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm.
Like the beak of the wading bird that inspired its name, the deep bellied shape of the long-wearing D2 blade pairs grace with precision, offering a broad cutting edge for smooth slicing and a fine point for unparalleled control. Equipped with a fast-opening flipper, easy-closing liner lock and a slip-resistant G10 handle.
