The CRKT Homefront Compact features a 2.91" S35VN stainless blade, plain edge, G-10 handle, black finish.
The blade is S35VN SS, a refined powder steel that keeps the edge retention of S30V while being meaningfully easier to sharpen. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate: light, dimensionally stable, and grippy even wet.
Around three inches is the everyday carry sweet spot – long enough for boxes, cord, food prep and general utility, short enough to disappear in a pocket.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 2.91" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it.
