Description
The Connecticut Valley Arms / CVA Cascade is a bolt action rifle in .28 Nosler with a 26" barrel, a 1:9.5 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.
A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles.
The .28 Nosler is commonly chosen for open-country hunting at extended range. Flat trajectory and substantial energy, with recoil to match.
