CVA CR3906G Cascade 7mm-08 Rem 4+1 22″ Black Cerakote Steel Threaded Barrel, Black Cerakote Receiver, OD Green Synthetic Stock

Description

The Connecticut Valley Arms / CVA Cascade is a bolt action rifle in 7mm-08 REMINGTON with a 22" barrel, a 1:9.5 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The 7mm-08 REMINGTON is commonly chosen for deer-sized game. Mild recoil for its capability, which is why it is often recommended to new hunters.

The bolt design incorporates a 70 degree throw for smooth and fast operation, plus generous scope clearance. The two-position safety is located for natural and instantaneous operation. The synthetic stock is fiber-glass reinforced and has a SoftTouch finish for easy gripping. The buttstock has adjustable length of pull by way of a removable spacer making it an ideal gun for still growing youths, small statured adults or the full-sized hunter. Dual front swivel studs allow for the use of both a sling and a bi-pod at the same time.
