CVA CR3999MOBL Cascade XT 7mm PRC 2+1 24″ Midnight Bronze Cerakote Fluted Threaded Steel Barrel & Receiver w/Picatinny Rail, Mossy Oak Bottomland Adjustable Synthetic Stock, Right Hand

Description

The Connecticut Valley Arms / CVA Cascade is a bolt action rifle in 7MM PRC with a 24" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 2-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The 7MM PRC is commonly chosen for open-country hunting and precision shooting at extended range. A modern cartridge designed around long, high-BC bullets – it is used as much on paper at distance as it is on game.

The Cascade XT (X-Treme) builds on the proven Cascade platform with a series of cosmetic and functional upgrades that elevate your hunting experience. Its the next step for hunters who want more control, durability and precision. The heavier fluted barrel provides a more balanced feel for steadier shots, while the radial muzzle brake helps tame recoil. The oversized bolt knob is easy to grab in gloves or tough weather. features medium contour Bergara fluted barrel; Radial muzzle brake; oversized bolt knob and Cerakote barreled action.
