CVA CR3985MOBL Cascade XT 450 Bushmaster 2+1 22″ Midnight Bronze Cerakote Fluted Threaded Steel Barrel & Receiver w/Picatinny Rail, Mossy Oak Bottomland Adjustable Synthetic Stock, Right Hand

Description

The Connecticut Valley Arms / CVA Cascade is a bolt action in .450 Bushmaster with a 22" barrel, a 1:24 twist and 2-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles.

The .450 Bushmaster is commonly chosen for deer hunting in straight-wall cartridge states. These exist to satisfy regulations that prohibit bottleneck rifle cartridges for deer.
