CVA CR3989G Cascade XT 6.5 PRC 2+1 24″ Graphite Black Cerakote Fluted Threaded Barrel, Graphite Black Cerakote Picatinny Rail, Fixed OD Green w/Black Webbing Synthetic Stock, Right Hand

Description

The Connecticut Valley Arms / CVA Cascade is a bolt action rifle in 6.5 PRC with a 24" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 2-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The 6.5 PRC is commonly chosen for long-range hunting and precision shooting. It pushes 6.5mm bullets faster than Creedmoor, trading barrel life and recoil for reach.
