The Connecticut Valley Arms / CVA Scout is a single shot in .338 ARC with a 16.5" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 1-round capacity.
A carbine-length barrel keeps the rifle maneuverable, trading some velocity for handling. That is faster than the usual twist for this cartridge, which suits the heavier, longer bullets distance shooters tend to favor.
