Description
The Daniel Defense DDM4V7 is a semi-auto rifle in .223 REM/5.56 NATO with a 16" barrel, a 1:7 twist and 32-round capacity plus one chambered.
A carbine-length barrel keeps the rifle maneuverable, trading some velocity for handling. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It ships without iron sights, so budget for an optic, rings and a base if you do not already have them.
The .223 REM is commonly chosen for varmints, predators and target work. Cheap, widely available and light on recoil, which makes it an easy cartridge to shoot well.
