The Magnum Research Desert Eagle L5 Series is a semi-auto in .357 MAGNUM with a 5" barrel and 9-round capacity.

This is a full-size handgun barrel length – more velocity and a longer sight radius than a compact, in exchange for size.

The .357 MAGNUM is commonly chosen for revolver shooting, hunting and defense. Substantial power and muzzle blast; most revolvers chambered for it will also fire lighter .38 Special.
