The Diamondback Firearms DB15 is a semi-auto rifle in .300 AAC Blackout with a 16" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 30-round capacity plus one chambered.
A carbine-length barrel keeps the rifle maneuverable, trading some velocity for handling. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.
