The FENIX HM70R is a 1600-lumen flashlight.
This is a high-output light aimed at outdoor and duty use, where reach matters more than avoiding glare indoors. Lumens describe total output rather than reach; a light with fewer lumens but tighter focus can throw further.
It is rechargeable, which lowers running costs but means it needs charging on a schedule rather than being left in a drawer. Check the runtime at the output you will actually use; headline lumen figures are usually quoted on a setting the light cannot sustain. Lights ship directly to you with no FFL transfer.
Press and hold the large, glove-friendly switch to change over to the Functional mode to access two levels of neutral white light, a red reading light, and a red flash. The hidden USBC port adds to its IP68 dustproof/waterproof rating and allows you to quickly charge your headlamp with a 2A charging current.
