Description
The Reaper is Fierce's lightweight folding-chassis line, built to close the gap between a precision long-range rifle and a rifle you can actually pack into the backcountry. Every Reaper pairs a folding chassis with Fierce's C3 carbon barrel technology and a sub-.50 MOA accuracy standard.
The MTN Reaper 2.0 is the lighter of the two builds and the lightest folding-chassis rifle Fierce make, aimed at backcountry hunters. It combines a dual-lug titanium action with an ultra-light magnesium chassis, a C3 carbon fiber stock, an M-LOK carbon fiber handguard and a hand-lapped C3 carbon barrel. Fierce state the titanium configuration starts at 5.8 lbs and carries a .5 MOA accuracy guarantee.
The stock folds to the right, which lays it over the bolt handle and protects it on the way in. For 2.0 Fierce moved the cheekpiece to a push-button adjustment with added carbon fiber reinforcement and redesigned the folding stock. The trigger is a TriggerTech Primary Pro, set at 2.5 lbs from the factory and adjustable from 1.5 to 4 lbs. QD flush cups, a dropbox magazine and a suppressor-ready threaded barrel round out the build.
This one is chambered in .300 PRC with a 20" barrel. This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry.
This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.
