Description

The FN America / FN Herstal 510 MRD Comp is a semi-auto pistol in 10mm with a 4.43" barrel and 15-round capacity.

This is a full-size handgun barrel length – more velocity and a longer sight radius than a compact, in exchange for size. It comes with night sights. The slide is cut for a red dot, so an optic mounts without machining. The optic and, on most models, a mounting plate are bought separately, and the plate has to match the footprint your optic uses.

The 10mm is commonly chosen for hunting, the outdoors and range use. The most powerful common semi-auto handgun cartridge, which is why it is carried in bear country.
