Description
The MK14 handguard is a slimmer design than Geissele’s other rails – smaller in diameter and overall height – for a tighter package in the hand.
It ships with an updated version of Geissele’s barrel nut. The 2.25″ nut makes long surface contact with the receiver, which is what keeps the free-float rail straight along its whole length. The rail is machined from 7000 series aluminum for stiffness at low weight.
M-LOK slots sit at the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions for mounting lights, bipods and other accessories. The finish is Type 3 Hardcoat anodize in Black or Geissele’s Desert Dirt Color.

Before you buy
- Geissele’s rails are designed for mil-spec M4 upper receivers. Compatibility with billet receiver sets is not established.
A note on finish. Geissele use Type 3 Hardcoat Anodize, which means there is no exact color matching between parts and some shade variation is normal. Two parts bought at different times can differ slightly. More on anodize shade variation and finish methods.
