Description
The Super Modular Rail MK16 mounts to an AR-15 upper using an updated version of Geissele’s barrel nut design, which keeps it straightforward to install and maintain while staying rigid. Anti-rotation tabs and set screws hold the rail against rotating under hard use.
There is M1913 Picatinny rail along the top and M-LOK slots on every quadrant, so accessories mount directly on any face without adapters.
It is machined from 7000 series aluminum, chosen for stiffness at low weight, and finished in Type 3 Hardcoat anodize.

Before you buy
- Geissele’s rails are designed for mil-spec M4 upper receivers. Compatibility with billet receiver sets is not established.
A note on finish. Geissele use Type 3 Hardcoat Anodize, which means there is no exact color matching between parts and some shade variation is normal. Two parts bought at different times can differ slightly. More on anodize shade variation and finish methods.
