The Guntec USA Guntec AR15 is a pistol stabilising brace.

A brace attaches to the rear of an AR-pattern pistol and is designed to be strapped to the forearm, which is what makes it a brace rather than a stock.

The distinction is legal, not cosmetic. Fitting an actual shoulder STOCK to a pistol creates a short-barreled rifle, which is an NFA item and has to be registered before it is assembled. Rules in this area have changed more than once – if you are unsure how it applies to your build, ask us before you fit anything.
