HEN EXPLORER CARB LVR 45-70 BB

Description

The Henry Repeating Arms Explorer is a lever action rifle in .45-70 GOVERNMENT with a 16.5" barrel, a 1:20 twist and 4-round capacity.

A carbine-length barrel keeps the rifle maneuverable, trading some velocity for handling. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It comes with adjustable rear/bead front sights.

The .45-70 GOVERNMENT is commonly chosen for heavy game at short range and brush hunting. Large, slow bullets with a lot of energy up close.

This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.
