The Henry Repeating Arms Classic Lever is a lever action in .22 WMR with a 16.5" barrel, a 1:16 twist and 10-round capacity.
Rimfire velocity peaks in the high teens of barrel length, so a barrel this short gives up very little and keeps the rifle light and quick to handle. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles. It comes with adjustable rear sight & blade front.
The .22 WMR is commonly chosen for small game and varmints. It bridges the gap between .22 LR and a centerfire varmint round.
