The Hi Point Firearms Hi-Point 10Ts is a semi-auto in 10mm with a 17.5" barrel, a 1:12 twist and 10-round capacity.
This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles. It comes with adj post front/peep rear sights.
The 10mm is commonly chosen for hunting, the outdoors and range use. The most powerful common semi-auto handgun cartridge, which is why it is carried in bear country.
