Description

The Hi Point Firearms Hi-point Carbine is a semi-auto in .45 ACP with a 17.5" barrel, a 1:7 twist and 9-round capacity.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles. It comes with adjustable post front/peep rear sights.

The .45 ACP is commonly chosen for range use, competition and carry. A large, slow bullet with mild muzzle blast; magazines hold fewer rounds than a comparable 9mm.
