Description

The HIGH SPEED GEAR TACO GEN 2, Magazine is a magazine carrier – the companion to a holster rather than a holster itself. It carries two magazines on the belt, normally on the support side opposite the pistol.

A spare magazine is carried for two reasons: to reload, and because the magazine is the part of a self-loading pistol most likely to cause a stoppage. Carriers are generally sized to a magazine body – single-stack or double-stack – rather than to one pistol, so a carrier cut for one double-stack 9mm magazine commonly takes others of the same width.

Kydex is a moulded thermoplastic. It holds its shape, so the mouth of the holster stays open for one-handed reholstering, and it retains the pistol by friction against that fixed shape.
