The Heckler & Koch / H&K HK45 Tactical is a semi-auto in .45 ACP with a 5.2" barrel and 10-round capacity.

This is a full-size handgun barrel length – more velocity and a longer sight radius than a compact, in exchange for size. It comes with night sights.

The .45 ACP is commonly chosen for range use, competition and carry. A large, slow bullet with mild muzzle blast; magazines hold fewer rounds than a comparable 9mm.

Originally developed as part of the U.S. military's Joint Combat Pistol program in 2005-6, the HK45 Tactical model is the threaded barrel version of the HK45. It comes standard with a threaded barrel and adjustable Truglo high-profile sights, which are suitable for use with or without suppressors. The sights are made exclusively for HK. All HK45 pistol series models- compact, full-size, and Tactical- are manufactured at HK's American facility in Columbus, Georgia, using American and German components.
