The Holosun HLS Gr/ir/ir Ill/wl Ti is a weapon-mounted laser.
A laser projects an aiming dot onto the target, so the sight picture does not depend on lining up irons. It has to be zeroed to the gun like any other sight, and the zero holds only at the distance it was set.
Visible and infrared units are different things: an IR laser is invisible without night vision. Check which this is and check your state's rules – a few restrict laser sights.
