The Hogue Wrapter is an adhesive grip wrap.
A grip wrap is an adhesive panel that sticks to the frame you already have, rather than replacing anything. On a polymer pistol whose grip is part of the serialized frame – or moulded in one piece – it is often the only way to change the texture at all.
Rubber gives cushion and grip in the wet; grit-textured material bites harder and is the choice for a competition or duty gun. Grit is also what wears a cover garment and bare skin, which is the trade to weigh if the gun is carried against the body.
It is cut for a specific frame, so check the model. Fitting is a clean and degreased surface and patience at the edges; most are removable, but adhesive residue and a stretched panel are the usual price of a second attempt.
