Howa HGR7MMPRCG M1500 Hogue Full Size 7mm PRC 5+1 24″ Blued Steel Barrel, Blued Drilled & Tapped Stainless Steel Receiver, Hogue OverMolded Green Synthetic Stock, Right Hand

Description

The Howa 1500 is a bolt action in 7MM PRC with a 24" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The 7MM PRC is commonly chosen for open-country hunting at extended range. Flat trajectory and substantial energy, with recoil to match.

This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.

An out-of-the-box rifle for hunts and target shooters alike. The combination of the high precision Howa 1500 and the ergonomic Hogue OverMolded stock is a perfect blend for a lightweight, entry level match or sporting rifle you can depend on. The Howa 1500 brings with it, cold hammer forged barrel, steel forged bolt and receiver, HACT 2-stage trigger, and a 3-position safety.
