The Howa Hs Precision 6.5 is a bolt action in 6.5mm Creedmoor with a 16.25" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 5-round capacity plus one chambered.

A carbine-length barrel keeps the rifle maneuverable, trading some velocity for handling. That is slower than the usual twist for this cartridge, so it favors lighter bullets; very heavy projectiles may not stabilize. It comes optic ready, so it is ready to take an optic without extra machining.

The 6.5mm Creedmoor is commonly chosen for long-range target shooting and deer-sized game. It became the default precision cartridge because it delivers high-BC bullets with modest recoil and good barrel life.
