The Howa M1500 Walnut Hunter Mini is a bolt action in .350 Legend with a 16.25" barrel, a 1:9.45 twist and 10-round capacity plus one chambered.
A carbine-length barrel keeps the rifle maneuverable, trading some velocity for handling. That is faster than the usual twist for this cartridge, which suits the heavier, longer bullets distance shooters tend to favor. It ships without iron sights, so budget for an optic, rings and a base if you do not already have them.
The .350 Legend is commonly chosen for deer hunting in straight-wall cartridge states. These exist to satisfy regulations that prohibit bottleneck rifle cartridges for deer.
