Description
The Horizon Firearms Iota Outdoors 25 is a bolt action rifle in 25 Creedmoor with a 22" barrel, a 1:7.5 twist and 22-round capacity.
This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles.
A bolt action locks the cartridge up rigidly and repeatably, which is what makes it the accurate choice for hunting and target work – there is no gas system or reciprocating carrier moving while the shot breaks.
The Vandal X stands tall as Horizon Firearms iconic flagship. It delivers unrivaled accuracy with a premium steel barrel and signature 3-flute, 2-twist Horizon fluting. Anchored by the EKO X stock.
