The KelTec Sub 2000 Defender is a semi-auto in 10mm with a 16.15" barrel, a 1:7 twist and 15-round capacity.
A carbine-length barrel keeps the rifle maneuverable, trading some velocity for handling. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles. It comes with yes sights.
The 10mm is commonly chosen for hunting, the outdoors and range use. The most powerful common semi-auto handgun cartridge, which is why it is carried in bear country.
