The Kershaw Chive folder features a 1.90" 420HC stainless blade, clip point, plain edge, aluminium handle.
Stainless scales are durable and easy to clean, though heavier than polymer.
At under two and a half inches this is a compact everyday carry knife: light in the pocket, unobtrusive, and legal to carry in more places than a larger blade.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 1.9" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm.
Designed for speedy use, the Chive is equipped with a SpeedSafe opening mechanism. For insured safety Kershaw used their two-stage locking system, allowing the frame lock to keep the blade open while in use and the tip lock to keep the blade closed while in transport. Made in the USA.
