The blade is CPM MagnaCut Steel, a modern powder steel that balances edge retention, toughness and corrosion resistance better than almost anything before it. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate: light, dimensionally stable, and grippy even wet.

Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 3.45" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it.
