Description
The Kershaw 8337 Craze EDC features a 2.35" 8Cr13MoV stainless blade, tanto, plain edge, textured glass-reinforced nylon handle, black finish. Built as a everyday carry knife.
The blade is 8Cr13MoV SS, a budget-friendly Chinese stainless that sharpens easily and resists rust well, though it needs touching up more often than premium steels. Stainless scales are durable and easy to clean, though heavier than polymer.
At under two and a half inches this is a compact everyday carry knife: light in the pocket, unobtrusive, and legal to carry in more places than a larger blade.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 2.35" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm. Keep the blade dry and the pivot clean, and touch the edge up on a strop or fine stone before it gets properly dull – it is far less work than bringing back a blunt edge.
Get excited for the Kershaw Craze, because this clean and EDC-friendly design is perfect for many cutting tasks. Open the manual folder easily and smoothly with KVT ball bearings. The textured handle fits comfortably in-hand, and the BlackWash reverse tanto blade handles everyday cutting tasks. It also locks into place using DuraLock technology, a solid steel crossbar that can be disengaged with the reliable button slider. The Craze delivers even more utility with an integrated bottle opener. Includes pocket clip.
