The Lee Precision Double Cavity Mold is a bullet mould.
A bullet mould casts projectiles from lead alloy. Casting is the step before loading, and it is a separate craft from it.
Moulds are cut for a diameter and a weight, and cast bullets usually need sizing and lubricating afterwards to reach their final diameter.
Casting means molten lead. It needs ventilation, eye protection, and everything going into the pot bone dry – moisture in a melt throws lead.
